The City's streets, parks, playgrounds and other such open spaces are open to all citizens. No person or group is allowed to interfere with the normal use of such property by the general public in any manner which restricts the equal right of access to our public open spaces unless a special permit has been authorized by the City.

  3. Print the two-page document, including the signature page, and return with your fee
    and any supporting documentation to:

This application for a special event permit must be filed thirty (30) days in advance of the event; except that permits for block parties and park rentals must be filed ten (10) days in advance. It is recommended that the application be filed as early as possible to give adequate time to address all issues.

The City's Special Event Committee will review the application and notify the contact person of its approval or denial and/or any conditions placed on the permit.
