COUNCIL OF NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATIONS (CONA)
The Council of Neighborhood Associations (CONA) serves as a liaison between the City of Germantown and the neighborhood associations within the city. CONA promotes, maintains and enhances the quality of neighborhoods in Germantown and fosters cooperation among existing neighborhood organizations and encourages the establishment of new neighborhood organizations where none exist.
CONA does not endorse political candidates or parties. Neither does it represent any other group or association in issues or matters to be addressed to the City of Germantown or Board of Mayor and Aldermen.
Membership in CONA is comprised of an elected or appointed representative and an alternate from each neighborhood association. Meetings are open to the public and are held on the fourth Thursdays of January, March, May, July and September and on the third Thursday in November.
