Germantown Parks and Recreation Department rents Pickering Center and pavilions at several parks:

Pickering Center, 7771 Poplar Pike
This is a 36.5' by 79' brick stand-alone facility with a large hall and a kitchen equipped with a refrigerator, stove and small ice machine. Also included in the rental are tables and chairs. The building holds a maximum of 200 people and can be reserved for meetings, church services, receptions, birthday parties, family reunions, etc. The renter may use the caterer of his/her choice or bring his/her own food. Pavilions may be reserved for picnics and gatherings at the above parks. The shelters will accommodate approximately 75 people, except for the smaller pavilion at Riverdale Park.
