Germantown Community Library

Germantown Community Library is located at 1925 Exeter Road and can be reached by calling (901) 757-READ (7323). The library is fully owned and operated by the City of Germantown. The City subcontracts day-to-day management to Library Systems and Services, Inc. The staff is guided by policies developed by the Germantown Library Board, composed of seven citizens appointed by the Board of Mayor and Aldermen. Friends of the Germantown Community Library operates a used book store that is housed in the library.

Library Hours

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Friday and Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Sunday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Holiday Closings

The library is closed on the following holidays: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King birthday, President's Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and the following Friday, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and the following Sunday.
