C’mon out to the Farm Park!
The Bobby Lanier Farm Park is a working model of a community based suburban farm park which demonstrates, promotes, educates and advocates for a sustainable, healthy and supportive community. The mission of the farm park is accomplished through agriculture and stewardship. The 10 acre working farm features a community garden, children’s programming, a farmers’ market, live music, cooking demonstrations, garden talks, visiting farm animals, garden tours and storybook walks on a weekly basis. The public is also invited for special events offered at the Farm Park. Programs and events are free unless otherwise noted. For more information, contact the Parks and Recreation office at 757-7375.
Public access to the Farm Park begins at Germantown Elementary School, 2740 Cross Country. Enter the school’s faculty parking lot and follow the signs. Farm Park entry is next to the Cloyes Soccer Fields. For specific directions, please select the directions tab above.

Farm Hands (Volunteers) Needed Farm Park volunteers are lovingly referred to as Farm Hands. While they aren't necessarily farmers, they work with farm related events. Supporting farmers and artisans at the Farmers' Market, educating the community through field trips and programming are just a few ways the Hands promote sustainable living. A variety of volunteer opportunities are available for adults, teens and service groups.
Farm Park programs are free unless otherwise noted. Some require pre-registration. Register online or at the Parks and Recreation office, 2276 West St.
