Fall Farm Park Hours
The Farm Park is partially closed for construction and will fully re-open in the early fall with a new multipurpose facility. The project is made possible by funding from a Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation grant and the City of Germantown. Sustainable Sites Initiative standards are being used in the overall matter plan for all park improvements demonstrating the City's desire to practice and demonstrate environmental stewardship.
Farm Hands Needed
Farm Park volunteers and lovingly referred to as Farm hands. Supporting vendors at the summertime Farmers' Market, educating the community through field trips and programming are just a few ways the Farm Hands promote sustainable living. A variety of volunteer opportunities are available for adults and service groups. For more information call (901) 757-7378 or email jroberts@Germantown-TN.gov.
Farm Park programs are free unless otherwise noted. Some require pre-registration. Register online at Germantown-TN.gov/registration or at the Parks and Recreation office, 2276 West Street. In the event of inclement weather, call 751-5669 for details on event status.
