Administration

The City of Germantown Administration Department is led by  city administrator Patrick Lawton. Lawton has served as the City Administrator since 1989 and is responsible for the day to day operations of all aspects of Germantown City government. The city administrator reports directly to the Mayor and the Board of Mayor and Aldermen as a collective legislative body. Lawton is responsible for managing a team of professional public servants and is guided by the City of Germantown and ICMA codes of ethics.

Other administrative team members include the City Clerk, the Executive Secretary to the Mayor and CIty Administrator and Marketing and Communications staff.

The fifteenth annual Running of the Weenies, will be held Sunday, September 12, in conjunction with the Germantown Festival. Register your dog by September 10.
