The Personnel Department provides a uniform system of administration throughout City services by ensuring that recruitment, selection, replacement, promotion, retention and separation are based on employee qualifications.

Training workshops and seminars are arranged for employees to enhance their work capabilities.

The Education Assistance Program encourages employees to continue their education and to study the latest information in their fields.

The Personnel Department works closely with other departments to establish guidelines for hiring, promoting and supervising employees.
