Library Hours
Monday to Thursday, 9:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. 
Friday and Saturday, 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. 
Sunday, 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Holiday Closings 
The library is closed on the following holidays: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, President's Day, Good Friday, Easter, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and the following Friday, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

 

More about the Library
The mission of Germantown Community Library is to provide access to books, materials and resources that contribute to individual knowledge, enrichment and enjoyment. The library is committed to encouraging a love of reading and learning for infants, seniors and everyone in between with our exciting programs and helpful services.

As of March 2015, the library has a collection of nearly 140,000 items and serves over 30,000 cardholders.

The library has a monthly average circulation of approximately 30,000 items and up to 21,000 customer visits each month. 

Nearly 14,000 children, teens and adults attended 512 programs at the library since the beginning of July 2014, meeting the personal, educational, cultural and professional information needs of the community.

Cardholders have access to more than 60 databases.
