Adult Baseball
City Parks and Recreation staff manages the Germantown Adult Baseball League (GABL), open to men ages 18 years and older. The league runs from May through August at Cameron Brown Park.

Adult Softball
City Parks and Recreation staff manages Men's Open, Men's Church, and Coed leagues, open to adults ages 18 years and older. Leagues are played during the spring at Houston Levee Park.

Basketball
City Parks and Recreation staff manages the youth basketball program, open to boys, ages 7 to 17, and girls ages 7 to 15. Most games are played at public school gyms in Germantown.

Cheerleading
The Germantown Youth Athletic Association organizes cheerleading teams in conjunction with recreational football leagues. The program is open to participants in kindergarten through 6th grade.

The Germantown Swim Team, under the auspices of Germantown Athletic Club, offers competitive swimming for youth.

Tennis
Leagues, lessons and camps are coordinated by the Parks and Recreation Department. The City employs a tennis pro with an office adjacent to the Municipal Park courts. Registration is at the Parks and Recreation office, 2276 West Street.

Special Olympics
The sports program for mentally handicapped youth is run by the Greater Memphis Special Olympics organization. It offers training and participation in regional, state and national competition.
