First Offenders is a nine-month program for juveniles only who have received their first and only traffic ticket. The juvenile must complete six hours of community service and attend one "driving, drugs & alcohol" class. If the juvenile does not receive another ticket during the nine months, the traffic ticket is dismissed at cost, which is $60 and the ticket does not go on the juvenile's record.

If the parent does not wish for their child to participate in the program, the parent can pay the ticket. However, the violation will be reported to the state.
