city government and in community businesses and organizations.
Germantown residents have several opportunities to work with City staff
and otherleaders on projects which contribute to the quality of life in the city.
Whether you are a working professional, a student, a skilled tradesman, a
retired individual, or anyone with a little spare time, you can volunteer
at a time that's best for you.
What is the Germantown Volunteer Corps?
The Germantown Volunteer Corps serves as the City's one-stop resource for matching
volunteers with rewarding volunteer opportunities. Businesses and community organizations
also are encouraged to take advantage of the monthly newsletter to enlist citizen help on
various projects.

How to get involved
All potential volunteers must complete an application form which can be
picked up at the Germantown Volunteer Corps office in the Germantown Parks
and Recreation building,2276 West Street or it can be mailed to you.
Once you've completed the application, return it to the GVC office. You will be
contacted to find the volunteer opportunity that's right for you.
The Germantown Volunteer Corps office is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday

The Germantown Volunteer Corps general membership meeting is held on the first Wednesday
of each month at 10:30 a.m. at Germantown Parks and Recreation building, 2276 West Street.
