Germantown Symphony Orchestra Concert

The season ends on May 11, 2019, at GPAC with a concert featuring cellist Dr. Wesley Baldwin.

Dr. Wesley Baldwin, Professor of Cello at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and founder of the Tennessee Cello Workshop, will join the GSO as soloist at its spring classical concert. Dr. Baldwin will perform the Cello Concerto in D Major by Haydn and Cello Concerto No. 1 by 20th Century French composer, Darius Milhaud. The orchestra will also perform Haydn Variations by Brahms and Prokofiev’s Lieutenant Kije Suite. Student tickets are free for this concert. The Germantown Symphony is sponsored in part by a grant from the GPAC Arts Education Fund.
