Get ready for one of the most entertaining traditions of the Germantown Festival! On Saturday, September 6, dachshunds will take center stage at the Germantown Charity Horse Show Arena, 7745 Poplar Pike.

Festivities kick off at 11 a.m. with the always popular Best Dressed Hot Dog Contest, where pups strut their stuff in creative costumes. At 11:30 a.m., the crowd favorite Running of the Weenies begins, as speedy dachshunds race down the track for glory, prizes and plenty of laughs.

Sponsored by the Germantown Animal Shelter, this family-friendly event is a can’t-miss highlight of the Festival that’s sure to delight spectators of all ages.
