Peanut Butter & Jam: Iris Collective Animal Jam

Join us for Animal Jam, a fun-filled children’s concert where music meets the animal kingdom! Iris Collective’s string trio will perform playful, animal-inspired music that will have your little ones roaring, hopping, and fluttering along. From the buzzing of bees to the stomping of elephants, each piece brings the animal world to life through the magic of classical string instruments. After the performance, children can explore the Instrument Petting Zoo—a hands-on experience in which they can touch and play on violins, violas, and cellos that are just their size. Kids are encouraged to come dressed as their favorite animal or bring along their favorite stuffed animal friend for this musical safari. It's the perfect event for young nature and music lovers alike!

Now in its 30th season, this program introduces children ages 8 and under to a variety of genres including music, dance, and multicultural arts in an informal concert setting. Parents and children are invited to move and groove in these highly interactive performances held on scheduled Saturdays at 10:30 AM in the Watkins Studio Theater or Highland Capital Performance Hall. Tickets are Pay-What-You-Can.
