Join the Germantown Lions Club for an evening of celebration as they honor Vince Morelli as the 2026 Citizen of the Year.
Each year, the Germantown Lions Club recognizes a resident who has made a meaningful impact through service to the community. This annual dinner highlights individuals who embody the Lions Club motto, “We Serve.” Since 1980, the Germantown chapter has proudly honored local leaders who demonstrate a strong commitment to making Germantown a better place. Vince Morelli joins this distinguished group of honorees for his contributions to the community.
Vinny’s lifelong dedication to service spans decades. A retired Chef Manager with 55 years in the food industry, he has devoted himself to his family, faith, and community in Germantown. His volunteer efforts include leadership roles with the Knights of Columbus, Germantown Festival, Special Olympics Memphis, St. Vincent de Paul Soup Kitchen and many more.
The event will take place on Wednesday, April 8, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Great Hall and Conference Center. Dinner is $15 per person, payable at the door. Guests may also reserve a table for eight for $120.
Attendees are encouraged to RSVP in advance and invite others who would like to celebrate this year’s honoree. To RSVP or for more information, contact John McDowell, Citizen of the Year chairman, at (901) 210-4550 or by email at jd.mcdowell@comcast.net.
