After the recent winter storm, potholes may begin to appear on Germantown roads. Potholes form when water seeps into cracks in the pavement, freezes and expands, causing the surface to break apart. This is a common issue following periods of ice and snow.
The City of Germantown is prepared to make repairs and has supplies on hand. Residents can help by reporting potholes to Customer Service by emailing
CustomerService@Germantown-TN.gov
or calling (901) 757-7200. Potholes can also be reported using the Germantown on the Go app, available for free on Apple and Android devices, or by submitting a report online at
Germantown-TN.gov/potholes
Drivers are encouraged to use caution. Potholes can damage tires, suspension and alignment. Slow down and avoid potholes when possible to help protect your vehicle and keep roadways safe.
Thank you for helping keep Germantown’s streets safe and well maintained.
