When Life Gives You Lemons, Visit a Stand

Post Date:06/03/2026 12:00 PM

On Saturday, June 13, young entrepreneurs across Germantown will be setting up shop for the third annual Lemonade Stand Day. With support from the Germantown Education Foundation (GEF), participants will put their business skills to the test while raising funds for local education initiatives and a charity of their choice.

Residents are encouraged to visit stands throughout the day, support young entrepreneurs and help participants reach their fundraising goals.

An interactive map featuring all registered lemonade stand locations is now available at Germantown-TN.gov/Lemonade, making it easy to find a stand near you. Whether you're planning your route in advance or looking for a refreshing afternoon stop, the map is your guide to all the lemonade-filled fun happening throughout Germantown.

How Judging Will Work

Participants will compete for awards in three categories:

Most Money Raised
Participants must submit their fundraising totals to GEF and donate half of their proceeds to the Germantown Education Foundation by 3 p.m. on June 13 to be eligible.

Most Decorative Stand
Participants may submit a photo of their stand to Communications@Germantown-TN.gov by noon. Photos will be uploaded to a special album on the City of Germantown Facebook page, where community members can vote by liking their favorite stand between 1 and 3 p.m. The photo receiving the most likes by 3 p.m. will be named the winner. Only likes on photos within the City's official album will be counted.

Top Fundraising Neighborhood
The neighborhood that raises the most money during Lemonade Stand Day will receive a $500 microgrant to support future community projects and engagement efforts.

Cap Off the Day at the Big Squeeze Food Truck Festival

After a successful day of selling lemonade, join us at the Big Squeeze Food Truck Festival beginning at 6 p.m. at The Grove at GPAC, 1801 Exeter Road. Gates open at 5:30 p.m.

This year's festival will feature live music from Landslide, a Fleetwood Mac tribute band, food from Tacotitlan, Smoke & Toast, Bay's Wings & Things, BBQ X, Mempops, Marble Slab Creamery and Radiant Lemonade, as well as the Lemonade Stand Day awards ceremony.

Tickets are required for entry. General admission tickets are available for purchase at gpacweb.com.

Come celebrate the creativity, generosity and entrepreneurial spirit of Germantown's young people while enjoying great food, live music and community fun.
