Waste Pro crews continued cart deliveries throughout the holiday weekend, delivering more than 300 carts across the community.
For the beginning of this week, crews will primarily focus on residents who recently switched from backdoor service to curbside collection to help ensure households have the appropriate carts in place for service.
Waste Pro still expects to fulfill all existing requests by the end of this week.
Temporary Waste Pro Carts
To help fulfill requests as quickly as possible, Waste Pro has temporarily exhausted its inventory of Germantown-branded carts. While additional City-branded carts are on order, some residents may temporarily receive Waste Pro-branded carts.
Temporary cart color combinations include:
Once additional Germantown-branded carts arrive, Waste Pro crews will replace temporary carts.
Delivery Instructions
Residents waiting for a cart exchange may continue using their current cart until the replacement arrives. After your cart has been serviced and emptied, please leave it at the curb so Waste Pro crews can remove it and deliver the replacement cart.
What Counts as a Damaged Cart
Residents requesting replacement carts should note that carts are only replaced when they have functional damage that impacts collection service. Examples of qualifying damage include crushed or split carts and damaged wheels. In many cases, lids and lift bars can be repaired without replacing the entire cart. Dirty carts and those with normal wear or discoloration do not require replacement.
Need an Additional or Replacement Cart?
It is not too late to submit a request. If you still need an additional cart or a replacement for a damaged cart, please fill out the Online Request Form or contact Customer Service at (901) 757-7200 or CustomerService@Germantown-TN.gov.
We appreciate everyone’s patience as Waste Pro crews continue working through deliveries and exchanges across Germantown.
