Purpose
The Board hears appeals regarding decisions of code inspectors or other administrative officials, interprets the official zoning map as to designations, considers uses on appeal for special uses in residential zoning districts and considers variances where exceptional practical difficulties or hardships are involved.

Meetings
Second Tuesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. at Germantown City Hall, 1930 South Germantown Road.

Members
The Board consists of seven voting members, including Chairman Frank Uhlhorn, Vice Chairman Laura Meanwell, Andy Bland, Rick Towne, Chris McDermott, Jim Jacobs and Vice Mayor Mary Anne Gibson. Also present are: Assistant City Attorney Josh Whitehead and ECD Staff Liaisons Planning Division Manager, Sarah Goralewski; Planner II, Staci Tillman; Planner, Lillian Haddock; ECD Assistant Director, Sheila Pounder; and ECD Director Cameron Ross.
