Purpose

The Historic Commission provides for the development and preservation of historic documents, structures, areas, oral history, pictorial history and other materials deemed essential to the historic significance of the City of Germantown.

Meetings

Third Wednesday in January and February. Third Monday of each month March through October at 5:30 p.m. Location varies. The commission does not meet in November or December.

Members

The commission consists of 12 members appointed by the Board of Mayor and Aldermen and includes Chairman Marissa Rogers, Lucie Calvin, Michael Castellaw, Kyle Eaton, Angela Griffith, Edna Guntert, Meghann Kirk, John Paul Miles, Sam Overby, Zach Tatum and Lenore Vollmar. Non-voting members include Parks and Recreation Assistant Director Caleb Marcum, Alderman Sherrie Hicks, City Historian Andrew Pouncey.
