Purpose
The Technology Commission is tasked with enabling the City to meet the rapid pace of technological change in society by planning and investing in information and communication technologies.
Meetings
The Technology Commission meets on the third Tuesday of each month, with the exception of March, October and December, at 5:30 p.m., at City Hall, 1930 South Germantown Road.
Members
The commission consists of seven members plus one non-voting aldermen liaison. Members shall be appointed by the BMA and shall serve the standard term length of one year. Current members include Chairman Joshua Freeman, Scott Balentine, Ahmed Esmail, Anders Goranson, Bo Hormberg, Peter Kim, Steven Shipowitz, Alderman Tony Salvaggio and Staff Support Stephanie Logan and IT Director James Nichols.
