Germantown’s annual Neighborhood Summit is back!

It’s time for Germantown residents to get together and celebrate our hometown and our wonderful neighborhoods. The City’s annual Neighborhood Summit, hosted by the Neighborhood Preservation Commission, is back again this year. This event is always both fun and informative as neighborhood residents share their best practices in fostering community and being good neighbors.

This year’s summit will take place at 5:30 p.m., Tuesday, September 29, at The Great Hall & Conference Center, 1900 South Germantown Road. All Germantown residents are invited to attend. 

While the Summit is a free event, participants are asked to register in advance here: 2026 Neighborhood Summit Registration. 

The Summit will begin with an opening reception and expo, where attendees can enjoy refreshments and browse tables hosted by neighborhood associations, commissions and local businesses.

Tables for neighborhoods and nonprofit organizations are free. Each space will include a 6-foot table with a tablecloth and two chairs.

Meanwhile, door prizes will be awarded throughout the evening. 

After the reception, the City will feature speakers to educate attendees on the City's latest developments and happenings. 

Throughout the evening, there will be an awards ceremony honoring the Neighborhood of the Year, Neighbor of the Year and Neighborhood Leader of the Year.
