The Germantown Community Library Reopening Phase 2
The library is now open to the public with social distancing guidelines and limited occupancy in place. Ensuring the safety of visitors and staff is vital as the Library takes the next step in reopening. We will be in Phase 2 for at least 21 days, starting May 19.
The library’s hours of operation during Phase 2 are:
Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Tuesdays and Thursday from 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Friends Bookstore and Regional History and Genealogy Center remain closed.
Visitors up to and including 15 years of age must be under the direct supervision of a parent or guardian at all times. Masks are required for patrons 2 years of age and older. Cloth face coverings should not be placed on young children under age two, anyone who has trouble breathing, or anyone who is incapacitated or otherwise unable to remove the mask without assistance.
Curbside delivery, which had been available in phase one, is not available in this phase. Up to five items per library card may be checked out at the Circulation Desk. Computers are not available for public use. Other library services will resume at a later date.

The library is closed on the following holidays: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, President's Day, Good Friday, Easter, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and the following Friday, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

The library is committed to encouraging a love of reading and learning for infants, seniors and everyone in between with our exciting programs and helpful services.
The library has a monthly average circulation of approximately 30,000 items and up to 21,000 customer visits each month.
Cardholders have access to more than 60 databases.
