Recreation, Education, Art, Community and Health

REACH offers healthy choices for expanding creativity, learning new skills and having fun with friends. Structured to be beneficial for students and convenient for parents, the program challenges students to REACH for something more.

Before and After School Care
The program combines educational assistance, recreation and enrichment activities offered on all full days of school adhering to the Germantown Municipal School District calendar. Payment Guidelines
Fees must be made in advance of students attending the REACH program. Payments must be made online. If payments are more than 30 days past due, the child will be dismissed from the program.
Monthly Enrollment - Must be received on or before the first of every month. Payments received the following business day will be assessed a 15% late fee.
Daily Enrollment- To attend morning care, registration and payment must be made by 6 a.m. the day they plan to attend. To attend after care, registration and payment must be made by noon. the day they plan to attend.

Fee Structure

Monthly fees will be prorated for the months of October (Fall Break), November (Thanksgiving Break), December (Winter Break), and March (Spring Break).

Opting Out - You may opt out of the REACH program at any time however no refunds will be given. Please write a letter to inform the REACH Manager that your child will no longer be attending.

 

Community Enrichment Classes

Students expand their creativity, learn new skills, have fun with friends, being physically active and fit in a safe environment with quality instruction. Program opportunities are offered seasonally throughout the year. Pricing and schedules are distributed through school handouts and can be found online at Germantown-TN.gov/Registration.

Example of Classes 
Drama Kids - Drama activities help develop public speaking skills, acting skills, and confidence that help children in everyday social situations as well as the classroom.

Art Club – Through a variety of art mediums, children will tap into their creativity and imagination. They will also develop artistic skills as they explore pointillism, weaving, 3D form, canvas painting and so much more!

Lego Club – Legos combines science, technology, engineering, math and creative fun and presents weekly challenges and activities for the Lego lover in your life.

 

Gymnastics – Gymnastics helps develop balance and coordination while increasing strength and flexibility. The skills learned in this course leave children with a feeling of success!

Hands on Science Lab– Students are introduced to scientific inquiry as well as the natural world. Hands on experiments allow students to develop problem solving techniques and discover new skills.

 

STEM- Students explore Fantastic Fiction Island. Favorite children's books will be transformed into action-packed STEAM adventures. 

 

Little Vet School- encourages children to role play and explores the exciting world of veterinarians. Using interactive demonstrations, crafts and games, kids will learn how to take care of a pet and use instruments that real veterinarians use. 

 

Beginning Spanish- This class introduces action conversations and everyday aspects of contemporary Spanish-speaking worlds. Students will be learning Spanish in the same manner he/she learned their first language: listening, repeating, writing, and reading.
